Not entirely sure what I'm planning to write here, to be honest. That I'm failing life? Well, I am. I have no motivation to do anything. I never feel like doing uni work. And I can't join in here enough. Why did I say that I'd stay? Why didn't I go home tonight? Did I really think that I'd change and be able to talk to people? I can't. I can't talk to people. I'm too shy. Why don't my parents understand this? They just say to go and talk to people. Go and join in. Make friends. You'll have fun at this party. I'M NOT. How is everyone else so confident and can just join in? Why can't I be like that? Instead of just sitting here alone. I was there for 5 minutes. If that. I just can't go up to people and talk to them. My parents made me buy her a present just because her party's in the same flat that I'm living in. I don't know her well. Such a waste of money. Not that it was too much, but all money is some money, especially when you're a student. WHY AM I LIKE THIS. Why can't I be normal?!

Why do I bother with life?

Went to an awesome festival called Sonisphere on the 1/2 August. Saw loads of bands, including Linkin Park (best moment of my life) Metallica (2nd best), Feeder (3rd), Fighting with Wire, bit of Bullet for My Valentine and lots more! I miss it. :(

And James Phelps (Fred Weasley) was there! Love the Phelps twins now.

Going to uni soon. Really scared. :'(

Go England in the women's Euros!

Spalletti's resigned!! Rubbish.

After watching this documentary, Il Corpo delle Donne, I feel sickened. It's about how women are represented on Italian tv. I'd advise everyone to watch it, but it does feature many offensive, disgusting video clips (nsfw). It is likely to make you feel sad/angry. Like the narrator said, "Why aren't women out on the streets protesting?"

If any Italian or anyone with knowledge about Italian television, female or male, happens to read this and would like to impart any more information on the subject, or on the treatment of women in Italy in general, feel free to post a comment.

Similarly, feel free to post about the treatment of women in any other country.

I think this has made me angry with Italy in general. Well actually, I was already pretty angry (can't stand the fascists and Berlusconi. Sorry to anyone who supports him.)

Could this be the end of Roma love?

Actually, I think that might have already been starting to end.

How many languages do you speak?

I LOVE languages! English is my first and I've been studying French for about 6 1/2 years but my listening isn't amazing. (Plus, the English education system is so bad, we only get taught grammar properly after 5 years...when French is optional). I used to do German at scoll as well, didn't get the option of carrying it on after that, but I hope to get back into it after my exams this year. I also need to get back into italia, which I shall be teaching to myself, and I also want to learn Latin. Over the summer, one of my friends is going to teach me Cantonese and another friend is going to teach me Urdu. I also want to learn Finnish, Welsh and Mandarin, and I should really learn Spanish because it's so widely spoken. Of course, I'd also love to learn any other language if I got the chance!

What do you think feminism is, and what do you think of it?

New F1 season! So glad Jenson won, he and Brawn really deserved it, really pleased for Rubens too. Bit annoyed that Jarno got a 25 sec penalty meaning that Lewis got 3rd, but that's regulations for you. Jarno was so happy though! Feel a bit sorry for Seb Vettle and Robert, though they are muppets.

So glad it's on the BBC as well! Have't quite got used to there being no ad breaks though. So happy  they kept Martin Brundle and Ted Kravitz, and David Coulthard and Eddie Jordan were great!

http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/lapdancing/

Currently, lap-dancing clubs have Premises Licences- this means they're licensed in the same way as cafes. Thus, they can set up really easily and local authorities and the public have little say as to whether they set up or not. This is a petition to get lap-dancing clubs re-categorised as Sex Encounter Establishments, which would give people more power to stop these clubs from ebing set up in their local area. Click the link for more information.

Lap-dancing clubs are degrading to women, as they treat women as sex objects. So, if you live in the UK, please sign this petition to support womankind! (Please let everyone you know about it.) Thank you!

This might seem strange, but I was wondering if all the non-Brits on my f-list (or any random passers-by) could tell me about the education systems in their countries please? Such as, what sort of exams do you have to take, what subjects can you do and how many, do you have to take exams to move up into the next year, how long are you at school for etc etc. As much infor as possible please!!!

No, I do not know why I want to know all this. I am just weird.

The sky is grey, and it's pouring with rain. But, looking out into my garden, I think the rain is beautiful.

I thought moving to a new school would be the best thing in my whole life. I hated my lessons. But eventually I made new friends.

But I went back to my old school. I thought I would enjoy the lessons more. But now I have so much work to catch up on. And the people are crap. I miss my friends.

I just came back during a free period and just started crying. But I have to go back in a few minutes.

I can't wait another year and a half to be happy.

I want to be happy now.
